By installing or using SEOVitals, you agree to these terms. The extension is free to use and provided in good faith for legitimate SEO analysis purposes.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the SEOVitals browser extension (“the Extension”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please uninstall the Extension.

2. License

Rajan Gupta (“Developer”) grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Extension solely for your own legitimate SEO analysis purposes, subject to these Terms.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense the Extension or its source code without prior written permission.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension except as permitted by applicable law.
  • Use the Extension in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices, credits, or branding within the Extension.

3. Permitted Use

SEOVitals is intended for use by web developers, SEO professionals, digital marketers, and website owners to analyse the SEO properties of webpages. You may use it to:

  • Audit your own websites and web properties.
  • Analyse publicly accessible webpages for research or competitive analysis.
  • Generate and share SEO reports for professional or educational purposes.

4. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the Extension to:

  • Scrape, harvest, or aggregate data from websites in violation of their terms of service.
  • Engage in any activity that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on the rights of third parties.
  • Interfere with or disrupt any website, server, or network.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

The Developer does not warrant that:

  • The Extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components.
  • SEO scores, analysis results, or suggestions are guaranteed to improve search engine rankings.
  • The Extension will remain compatible with future browser versions or updates.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rajan Gupta shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Extension, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

The Developer’s total liability for any claims related to the Extension shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Extension (which is zero, as it is free).

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding within SEOVitals — including the name, logo, and user interface — are the intellectual property of Rajan Gupta. All rights are reserved unless explicitly stated otherwise.

8. Third-Party Websites

The Extension may display links to external sites (e.g. robots.txt, sitemap.xml). The Developer is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party website.

9. Modifications

The Developer reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. The updated Terms will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Extension after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Termination

The Developer reserves the right to discontinue or modify the Extension at any time without notice. You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the Extension.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Rajan Gupta is based, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
